Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day!

Menstrual Hygiene Day works to raise awareness and change negative social norms around Menstrual Hygiene, and engage decision-makers to increase the political priority and catalyse action at global, national and local levels.

Through UN Live’s ‘Global We’ platform, participants in Mexico City, Mexico, Kigali, Rwanda, and Lagos, Nigeria explored some of the challenges and stigma around menstrual health and hygiene in our communities, and how we can break taboos and dispel myths.
